I remember years ago, the back yard was a blanket of
white snow and it was beautiful. The wind was really kicking
up
a storm and off to the right on a garden bush fence was a red
cardinal. It was so beautiful, I was compelled to watch
it for
a long time. I watched it remain perfectly
balanced on that
wind blown branch. It never once swayed from its branch
even
though the branch was all over the place. It stood strong.
I learned a lot from that cardinal. First, the key to
life is
balance. In today's world there is so much going on we
can get
sucked into the whirlwind of activity and get thrown off
balance. The key here is to realize that
less is more.
I set out on a mission to clear up all unfinished business. At
first
it seemed like an insane idea. How was that possible?
It took at least 18 months to get everything cleared.
The way
I did it was I said no to everything unless it was
directly
related to my specific vision and goals that were most
important to me. I kept a precision focus.
I didn't let the busyness of our environment distract me with
opportunities that were not premium in my quest. I had
learned a great lesson.
Second, stay focused. We can so easily be distracted.
Don't
be. Be precision focused. Decide exactly what it
is that you
want to accomplish. If that has something to do with
your
purpose in life, you are on the right track.
The key is to move everything you are doing into a category
you
call destiny. Destiny? Destiny is when you
are one with your
purpose. You are so energized because it feels so right
that
you know you are doing the right things and you know you
know. It is exhilarating!
You will find your destiny if you are doing your passion.
So,
it comes right back to core---doing what you love and making
the decision to do it---just do it! A friend of mine
once
said, "Make up your mind and the rest is easy."
I never forgot
that. Everytime I get myself into struggle, I review
that fact
and just dust myself off, pick myself up and get back on track
again. I find that when I make a decision, it does
become
easy.
Life was not meant to be a struggle. It is meant to be
in
flow. Sit down and think. Put your mind on what
you really
want to do. Have the intention clear and put your
attention on
it and you will succeed with less effort.
You can get the results you want if you keep everything in
balance. Don't try to do too much. Stay focused
with
precision focus. Stand strong and the winds all around
you
that try to distract you won't blow you off center.
Wishing You the Very Best!
